Deed Writer – Allow Single Line to Define Right of Way Boundary Merged

In the Deed Writer tool (accessed via Geometry > Reports > Deed Writer), after selecting the reference alignment, the next step prompts the user to identify the Right of Way boundary. Currently, the tool only accepts closed shapes for this boundary and does not allow single line elements to be used. This limitation can be restrictive in workflows where a single line is sufficient to represent the boundary. It would be helpful if Deed Writer could also recognize and accept single line geometry as a valid Right of Way boundary, providing more flexibility for users working with simpler designs or partial boundary definitions.
