A catchment's subareas is ONLY accessible by opening the subareas collection. This limits the ability to streamline various workflows. At minimum sub areas need to be accessible from the following:
Flex Tables - The current flex tables will only show an ellipsis which opens the same collections dialog available from utility properties. What is needed is the ability to the various sub areas directly in a flex table.
Queries - Each individual sub area needs to be accessible in queries - for example SubArea Impervious > 0.0.
Formulas - each individual subarea needs to be able to be used in formulas for user data extensions.
For queries and formulas, the method of accessing needs to be powerful enough to different the multiple subareas based on the subarea's description. For example, SUBAREA1 as a variable is too loose. What is needed is ability for the variable to be SUBAREAimpervious - where impervious corresponds to the description and thusly to a runoff value.
