It's difficult to see which geometry elements are connected or ruled via persist snaps in the element profile. Add profile dynamic annotation and elevation dynamic fields to plan view. Add profile persist snap glyphs in plan view to show the connections between elements.
Example: Profile intersection point, displays a point in the profile view that represents a linear feature. When an element is snapped to a profile intersection point, show a graphic in plan view to indicate the ruled snap.
Example: Profile by Slope from Element tool, with persist snaps enabled, creates a rule between two 3D features. When the ruled element is selected in PLAN view, display a graphic to indicate the profile by slope from element rule. This graphic could look similar to the Single Offset Partial/Variable Offset Taper plan view graphics that allow for dynamic editing.
