Bring back "Create Geometry by Template" command

In the first versions of OpenRoads we had the tool "Create Geometry by Template" which would create ruled geometry from a template . Fast way to for lay out geometry for a project. Not sure why it went away.

Horizontal Slew On longsection

This tool currently only works on regression geometry. Sometimes I find myself needing to mix regression and standard geometry. once o make these complex the slews do not show on the long section and i find myself manually typing them in from the ...

Ability to Annotate Angle between Tangents

When placing an "angle point" in between 2 tangents in track, we need the ability to annotate what the angle value is between the 2 bearings.

Survey Closed Shape Information

I need a closed linear survey element to populate the area in the element information. I'm wanting to create a civil label that will place the area of a closed shape. As far as I can tell, this will work except with survey elements.

Enhance Design Standards to flag gaps in Geometry & apply to Feature Definitions

Additional functionality is needed for Design Standards to be fully functional for project delivery. Some additional thins include: Allow Design Standards to be optionally assigned to Alignment Feature Definitions so Alignments are created with th...

Allow superelevation lanes to follow a separate control line

In the old Geopak we could create superelevation shapes to follow a profile grade line (we called this a "PGL Chain". In locations where the lanes transition offset, this helped us to see that the lanes transitioned offset while still following st...

Check for unused/orphaned templates

As a project progresses templates can be created that are no longer needed. Currently I need to manually make a list of templates that are used in the model, then go back to the template library and remove unused templates. I'd like to see a tool ...

Ability to automatically generate 3d linear features/Linestrings from OBM elements

Generation of 2d decorations and solids are insufficient for full coordination with road geometry teams and they regularly need to provide 3d linestring geometry as part of the roadway design for bridge barriers, wingwall edges for earthworks, etc...

RM Bridge update to use the correct AASHTO reduction factor for reinforced/prestressed concrete based on tensile strain in reinforcing at ultimate limit state.

The current RM bridge ultimate capacity calculations allow for material reduction factors only, which are not used by AASHTO for reinforced and prestressed concrete. AASHTO concrete reduction factors for flexure and P-M capacities are based on the...

Civil Labeler - Elevations along Geometry with a given station range

It would be nice to be able to limit the elevation callouts (and other callout types) within a station range if possible. I.E > when labeling EOP/curb through an intersection, using the Elevation - Along geometry labels the entire element and t...
