Display A parameter (not Length) after using "Create Civil Rule Feature" option.
When I create an alignment with curves using A parameter and when I select this alignment "A parameter" will be properly displayed. Then when I "Remove Rule" and use "Create Civil Rule Feature" tool, A parameter will be replaced with "Length".
OpenRail Designer seems to have Japanese Sine spiral type added from the formula used in Power RailTrack. However, there seems to be nothing similar to Japanese Cubic Parabola, which is based on a different formula from Japanese Sine.
The ability to set a corridor feature definition that automatically increases the template drop interval in sections with curvature and superelevation
As we transition to using the model as a legal document, we are refining the standards we have for template drops to ensure our model provides adequate information to be used directly in construction. Our standards will require a certain interval ...
Provide Low Point/High Point Information in Profile Table Editor
Lost functionality that was available in Geopak. Helpful to meet specific locations when designing a profile, instead of storing the profile and reading the profile report, or hand calculation of the low and high points.
Support for station range as option along with distance in Profile Offset Transition tool
Currently The Profile Offset Transition tool allows Distance parameter to select Start and the End of the profile offset element. But this causes some issues with the station of the offset profile if there is a gap at the beginning of the original...
Create multiple long sections/profiles in the same model space
When creating profiles/long sections for track vertical geometry, ORD creates an individual sheet view and model view for each sheet. This creates a large amount of work when trying to bulk annotate or export long sections for drafting. It would b...
I would like to make a suggestion on an improvement to template design for 3D Modeling in ORD. The Rollover values tool in superelevation template design is incredibly helpful, as it saves time by calculating the proper shoulder super rates accord...
This code would be similar to the DIST command, except it would allow the crews to add a taped distance to the last segment of a figure, which would extend that segment by that value. It would be similar to a DIST commend except instead of turning...
Fix DIST Command in Survey to InRoads Survey Operation
The DIST Command in Open Roads is almost identical to the InRoads version with one problematic exception. Open Roads uses the last two actual shots to determine the direction to turn the 90-degree angle to generate its points. InRoads would allow ...
Add Single Point Arc that is identical to InRoads Surveys
The Sigle Point Arc command in InRoads survey would create true tangent arcs from the incoming and outgoing tangents. The ArcSingle in Open Roads does not. This frequently results in bulges in figures if the uncoded PC and PT points are not perfec...
