Currently The Profile Offset Transition tool allows Distance parameter to select Start and the End of the profile offset element.

But this causes some issues with the station of the offset profile if there is a gap at the beginning of the original profile.

In this example the profile does not start exactly at the beginning station of horizontal station.
When we create the New offset profile the start points station does not match because of this gap as the offset profile is created with the distance method instead of station range.
At the same location point, on the offset profile Station differs by the same value as the beginning offset distance.
