Civil Labeler - Add ability to use in Sheet Model

Please add the option to use Civil Labeler in sheet models. For some sheets, there is no readily-apparent need to create a drawing model (e.g. for schematic-type drawings with no dimensions), so we only create a sheet model. Unfortunately, this prevents us from using Civil Labeler, like to label an element's item type or layer name. In our specific case, we have a detail sheet that shows six details. We don't need drawing models for these for anything other than civil labeler. If we could place civil labels directly in the sheet model, it would eliminate 6 drawing models for every 1 sheet. That would reduce file size and reduce confusion.

Thank you for sharing your suggestion. We appreciate your feedback and understand the need for more flexibility in using Civil Labeler with sheet models.

While we don't have the option to directly place Civil Labels in Sheet models at the moment, I'd like to offer a workaround that might be helpful in your specific case. You can consider putting the Civil Labels in a Design model instead. This could be in a different model or dgn from the elements being annotated or within the same model. By doing this, you can still achieve the labeling you require without the need to label each Drawing or Sheet model. And you wouldn't have to reannotate if you ever needed to recreate your Named Boundaries.

We value your input, and your feedback will be taken into account as we continue to improve our features and functionalities. If you have any further suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. Thank you again for reaching out to us!

Thank you for the response! That works in many cases, and we will likely continue to do that where we can. In the specific detail I mention, we show the same area 6 times but with different display settings on each detail (like 1 detail with Blue lines only on, one with green lines only on, etc.). If we place the labels in the default model, we'd have to put each set of labels on it's own level, which would require many more element templates and labels instead of just placing all labels on the same generic level.
