Beam haunches should have more robust parameters or even model templates. some examples would be:

• the ability to allow exterior haunches to extend to the edge of deck independent of the top flange of the girder/beam. also allow it to taper to a zero thickness at the outside edge. • specify geometry such as overhangs or chamfered corners where it meets the bottom of the bridge deck.

• specify if the haunch is to be mono-poured with the bridge deck (essentially merge the geometry with the deck so it shows correctly in section views
