Beam haunches should have more robust parameters or even model templates. some examples would be:
the ability to allow exterior haunches to extend to the edge of deck independent of the top flange of the girder/beam. also allow it to taper to a zero thickness at the outside edge. specify geometry such as overhangs or chamfered corners where it meets the bottom of the bridge deck.
specify if the haunch is to be mono-poured with the bridge deck (essentially merge the geometry with the deck so it shows correctly in section views
