This would be useful as we currently manage multiple signage replacement projects per year (10-15) that involve the layout of hundreds of signs in SignCAD. This represents a large portion of the labor hours in the creation of engineering plans for these projects. My idea would be for the ability to generate sign layouts directly from street-level imagery such as Street Smart or Google Street View. Such a product would reduce the design costs of these projects, shorten the project timelines, and allow in-house staff to possibly handle the design of more projects internally.
