If you create a 3D slope line using the tool "Create 3D By Slope To Target" the result becomes an intelligent line dynamically linked to the horizontal/vertical geometry which is great, however, there are times when we would like to be able to quickly/easily manually make small adjustments to the generated linework (for one reason or another) which cannot be done when it is dynamically linked to the geometry. When you try to "Drop" the 3D line (and have "Application Elements" checked off) nothing happens. In fact, there is no way to drop (explode) the generated 3D line work. I believe this is a miss. From what I understand, having "Application Elements" ticked off, "Should" Drop the ORD intelligence leaving you with a basic MicroStation 3D Smartline. Currently, the only work around to Drop this type of line is to make a copy of it and then delete the original one which is very tedious and requires more work. Simply Dropping the linework with "Application Elements" selected should strip the ORD intelligence leaving you with a basic MicroStation 3D Smartline. Image attached for clarity. Thanks.
