In ORD especially in Drainage and Utilities, corrupt preferences lead to inconsistent results. There is currently no way to detect a corrupt preference file so that it can be removed until a user notices a error in the design which is usually too late. For the moment, users delete their preference files and restart the software as a resolution to this issue.
