There’s a need for improved interoperability between OBM and LBC when working with concrete diaphragms in open or closed box beam configurations. Specifically, the transfer of diaphragm data—such as start, end, and interior diaphragms—for box girders with fully closed sections is not currently supported or is inconsistent. This limits the ability to accurately carry over diaphragm design details from OBM into LBC for analysis.
