This will be helpful especially when the certain alignments are very long, and you only need to trim segments. Currently, the viable workaround is to copy that alignment and use either Project Profile to Element tool to join the vertical alignments or use Geometry Builder for it which are both a long workaround to the users. Maybe we could introduce a tool or additional command in the Table Editor that will properly join the elements affected in the trimming.
