In both OpenRoads and OpenRail Designer it would be very helpful to be able to add 3D text above tracks, roads and other objects for easier orientation when reviewing the model with project members. Primary things to annotate in 3D would be stationing and track names.

One easy way to handle the 3D text would be to be able to control elevation and rotation from the 2D text annotation in the 2D view.
