When you create your corridor, and ultimately move towards creating a terrain model, you would especially want the model to create the high points and low points correctly as this critically effects drainage design.

However, the only way to force a template drop at these extreme points is to place key stations along your corridor. My test of the "include vertical cardinal points" toggle in a corridor's feature definition ONLY includes, VPC, VPI, and VPT. "Summit points," or high/low points of vertical curves are NOT currently included in this toggle.
