Civil Accudraw Reference Element Included in Heads Up Prompt and Highlight Element

When using Civil Accudraw’s heads up prompts it would be helpful to have the prompt display the reference element (or elements) and highlight it, so the user knows exactly which reference element is being used.

Often users are switching between multiple reference alignments to perform their tasks and don’t always know which alignment they’re on and feel the need to constantly set the reference element repeatedly.

The Switch Dialog Mode toggle does display the reference element so it seems that this could be easily done. However, the dialog mode isn’t usually turned on by default and it’s the last option in the setting menu, so it’s not extremely apparent to most users.

This is essentially the concept of setting an active Chain in Geopak or an active Alignment in InRoads. Both products had that capability because there is always a need for them. Please add that functionality to OpenRoads products. Do not overlook this need!

Maybe I am mistaken, but the functionality of InRoads Tracking or its equivalent Curvilinear Coordinates in Geopak are really what we need here.

Perhaps adding locks in the Switch Dialog Mode would do the trick. Lock on Station, LOCK ON REFERENCE ELEMENT, Lock on Offset are all essential. The Geopak CURVILINEAR COORDINATES DIALOG was exceptional and fills the needs mentioned here if accompanied by some kind of set ACTIVE CHAIN functionality.

I agree, the Switch Dialog Mode - it is very well 'hidden', but quite useful. Why not add the option into the heads-up display and include a collapsible up/down arrow to hide it and make the heads-up smaller, but also conveniently get to the dialog version.
