When naming nodes, we usually associate that node name with the conduit, drainage area, and gutter name. But, if we have to update the node name (ex: 0401 to 0405), then we have to change all the other names manually. User is looking for possibility where when the node name changes, all the other name also get changed at the same time (ex: DA-0405, G-0405, ect)? This would save a bunch of time.

Regarding your workaround @Guest, I wondered whether you are aware that FlexTables include Relabel functionality. To use it, right-click on the title cell of the Label field, and select Relabel. This includes functionality to add a prefix or suffix.
The work around for this is using flextables and Excel to get and edit the information. Example: Once your nodes are named, you can open a Cathcment Flextable that displays the Catchment Label and the Outflow Node. Copy/Paste this data into Excel, use excel formulas to modify the Area name if needed (adding a prefix if desired), or simply copy the outflow node information. Then paste the new names into the Catchment Flextable to rename all the Catchment labels. Similar can be done from a conduit flextable showing the Conduit Label and the Upstream Node.
This requires a bit of work, but unless you are constantly re-naming elements it's not too terrible.
Both the ability to link this to other D&U objects but also define a "schema" where names can be either auto generated or at least suggested and accepted. On client labels structures based on major station, structure type, side and sequence. So an Type C inlet located at 1234+56, on the left side roadway outside might label as 1234CR1.
