Improvement of the "Geometry Connector" to simplify for the user

Suggested improvements: Automatically fill in the correct radius of transition curves/clothoids. Make an option somewhere (civil design file settings?) to select if you want to give transition curve values "by length" or "by constant". If you choo...

Allow flow arrow density adjustment similar to contour lines

All the current products anchor their surface data in triangles, and allow different types of visualizations to happen. For instance, you can choose to show major and minor contours as needed, and they do not change the way the triangles actually ...

Model Curves with Radius in OBM

Currently 3D elements that are curved are rendered with a series of line segments. While this might be okay for some applications, it makes the 3D model very unhelpful for plans production (i.e. you cannot dimension radii of curves). We need the c...

Improve "Create Terrain from Design Meshes" & "Graphical Filter" tool. Filter by Fence / Shape / Reference Clip / Level Display / Selection Set

When I first saw this tool I was so excited. I could drape the design meshes from top or bottom and create a terrain . Then I started using it and realize the tool may need some improvement because it processes everything in the file or reference ...

Start and End Station Civil Expression for Offset Strings

We need an item type civil expression for offset strings from corridor strings (lines created by template points) providing start / end station in respect of that corridor alignment. Currently alignment name needs to be specified manually to the e...

Export to IFC/Export to SHP/Export Geometry to reprojected coordinate system

Part of our design process includes exporting Geometry lines to XML and exporting both IFC and SHP files. These assets get loaded into our GIS system. However, during the design process, we design off of a modified coordinate system, and our GIS s...

Modify the LLS part when placing a turnout.

Currently one could add an LLS part on a turnout. Unfortunately this is a standard value. Sometimes, when creating a horizontal geometry, it is necessary to ''shorten'' the LLS part (aka to place a fewer amount of long sleepers that a standard LLS...

Create a tool that constructs transitions between different types of rail sections

Sometimes in track design, one must use different types of rails, say 60kg and 50kg rails. One could weld them and grind them together but this is a crude method. In Sweden they use what is called a transition rail, which in principle contain a sm...

Ability to Copy Corridors and Parts of Corridors

Developing projects requires many iterations involving multiple alternatives. For simpler projects it may be feasible to manually duplicate a corridor but as corridors get more complex this method becomes more cumbersome and prone to error. When d...

Clip 2d geometry same as 3D corridorclip

When a corridor clip is applied, the 2D geometry is not affected by that corridor clip, only the 3d mesh is clipped. I would like an option to choose whether you'd also like to clip the 2D geometry.
