Enhancement to Introduce the Remapping Capability on Terrain Model’s Source Path

There is currently not a way to remap the terrain model’s source path in ORD. This capability is needed to be able to push survey data updates via rewriting a .tin file to then update from source (sourcing back to the rewritten .tin file with surv...

Variable Constraints on a Skew

I've found that variable constraints are highly effective when support lines are perpendicular to the alignment. However, when a skew is introduced to these support lines, a variable constraint continues to function perpendicular to the alignment ...

Drainage Profile Change Property (Color/linestyle)

Currently, Profiles are drawn according to the feat definition/element templates of a node and/or conduits. There are times we need to differentiate the difference between an existing network vs proposed. eg. all proposed are required to be solid ...

Multiple Vehicle Cross-Section Outlines

Unlike BRT, ORD does not allow defining different cross-section outlines for the front, middle, and rear of a vehicle. This capability is critical for accurate clearance assessments, especially for vehicles with varying geometry (e.g., tapered cab...

Inside Rail Pivot for Swept Envelope

In railway design, the standard practice is to pivot at the inside (low) rail when applying cant and generating swept envelopes. Currently, OpenRail Designer does not provide an option for this; users must create complex templates with point contr...

Superelevation Frame Annotation can annotate the 0% cross slope location

As part of the profile superelevation annotation, the annotation currently cannot annotate the location where the superelevation is 0%. This would be helpful to show in plans and for designers to easily see the station this point is at.

Add option to HorizontalAlignmentCheckIntegrity.xsl report to ignore angular differences for PIs with no curves.

In the InRoads Check Integrity command, the command would report "OK" for any PIs that did not have curves. We would like the ORD check integrity reports to not report issues at a PI if there are no curves present.

Support Multiple Leaders on Civil Labels

Currently, civil labels with leaders do not support multiple leaders. We often label similar elements with a single label and multiple leaders. The civil label could read the data from the first element and then allow us to place multiple arrows. ...

Template Display Rules for Null Points

Template Display Rules are very powerful and widely used in corridor modeling workflows. However, Display Rules are only available for components. We would like to extend this functionality to the Null Points. This would open new possibilities for...

Add the ability to target drainage structures

I'd like for a corridor to be able to target drainage structures. When I have an RCB or end section the corridor end section should be able to target those things for the model to be accurate. I can fake it by adding surfaces on the structure to t...
