Viewing Corridor Object and Dynamic Cross Section Tools in Read-Only
I sometimes have to look at another user's Corridor file to get additional details. If I reference in their file or open it read only, I'm not able to open up Corridor Objects to see what template they are using. It would be useful to allow me to ...
For the modeling and model review process, it would be helpful to have Description fields for common corridor inputs, such as Parametric Constraints, Point Controls, etc. that can be easily discovered using the Corridor Objects tool.
As a Designer I want the ability to annotate point elevations and dimensions like we are able to in the drawing model cross-section so that checking the model during design before cutting sheets helps us.
Create a button/command that creates a linked 3D model associated with the active 2D model
When we create a new file we often start with a 2D seed with only one 2D model in it. We often would like to have a linked 3D model associated with that 2D model. It would be great to have a simple button that force creates the linked 3D model.
Want a warning when import xml when geometry chord/arc definitions different than the dgn "degree of curve method" setting
Would be very helpful to get some kind of warning that pops up when someone tries to import geometry from an xml file where the chord/arc defined on some of the xml file geometry is different than the “degree of curve method’ setting assigned to t...
Profile Grid Text Annotation - Convert to Point Cell instead of Graphic Cell
Currently, when a profile is annotated along the grid, the text is placed as a Graphic Annotation Cell. For right to left profiles, the easeiest fix is to create Annotation Groups and Defs that basically annotate the text backwards. Then, the prof...
suppose you use the Civil analysis tool to track the mainline horizontal alignment to a point at the edge of pavement. It can be confusing for users to know if X/Y displayed in the dialog represents the point selected (e.g. at the edge of pavement...
Include the slope of a terrain into the OpenRoads Modelling/Horizontal/Place Point command from the Geometry command as in Drainage and Utilities/Layout/Place Node.
This would then allow the placement of items that need to be on a slope in an OpenRoads model without filling up the file with a lot of drainage data. An example of this a crash barrier impact attenuator.
