When using the Set Feature Definition tool on non-civil geometry, have it include Item Types attached to Feature Definition.
Currently, when using the Set Feature Definition tool to assign a Feature Definition to a non-civil element (ie a dumb MSCE line) it does not include the Item Types that are attached to the Feature Definition.
I would like to see some of the tools from OpenCities, mainly the ability to read a geodata base, integrated into OpenRoads. Since Bentley Map was removed from the Select Series application and not added to the OpenRoads, we have very little GIS i...
Add ability to Target Alias and clip a Conical Slope
The conical slope feature is very useful for model detailing. We use these often at bridge abutments. It would be helpful if we could target alias these features and also clip them.
Kindly add a non-graphical way of identifying whether a pipe contains bends or not and information about the coordinates.
The report is required to produce pipe setting out schedules and share the coordinates with the contractor. It would be...
When defining model requirements, we want to define the template drop interval and a stroking distance to densify template drops through vertical and horizontal curves. This will insure that models are designed to meet construction standards and s...
It would be great if we could create a field (text favorite) that would label the station begin and end of a named boundary for an index of sheets layout.
Is there a way we can see if there is an overlap in the stations in parametric constraints labels? Like in InRoads, it highlights in orange color if there is an overlap in stations with same labels. This will help and save lot of design time, if t...
Ability to use end condition exceptions on linear templates
Being able to use end condition exceptions for linear templates would be extremely beneficial for roadway designers. We often use end condition exceptions to turn off slopes in order to connect external features like ditches to the corridor. Not b...
OpenRail Designer seems to have Japanese Sine spiral type added from the formula used in Power RailTrack. However, there seems to be nothing similar to Japanese Cubic Parabola, which is based on a different formula from Japanese Sine.
Many dialogue windows don't open up with the best proportions to see the data and they don't save the proportions after they have been edited. It gets tiring having to edit the proportions of dialogues to see the data as needed every single time I...
