Ability to Place a Conduit/Pipe "Without" a Node

Many times, we have conduits/pipes that simply daylight a surface and drain on to the ground or into a pond. Please add the ability to place conduit/pipes "Without" the need of a Node. I understand that we can create a sort of null point/node that...

Ability to export and import all corridor objects such as point controls to enable rebuilding of corridors

I know parametric constraints can be exported but if a corridor becomes corrupt then being able to rebuild it from scratch easily would be useful. Similar to an input file in MX

Annotating and Labelling Intersecting Alignment Stationing in Cross Sections

Annotating and labeling cross sections within ORD is missing the functionality to label the stationing of intersecting alignments shown on roadway cross sections. While feature names (alignment names) and elevations of intersecting alignments can ...

Button to synchronize all template drops for all corridors & linear templates in a file

I'd like a tool that synchronizes all template drops in all corridors in a file, right now they have to each be manually selected in the explorer or on screen.

Add a property to apply terrain feature type to civil elements.

Set the terrain feature type for template points (breakline, boundary). When creating a terrain from a corridor, this would automatically create the exterior boundary eliminating the need for trimming edge triangles. Provide this same functionalit...

Normal/parallel offset in vertical profile

In ORD it is possible to do a Profile Offset Transition. This methode makes a vertical offset. In case of a slope, the difference between the vertical offset and the normal/parallel offset is different. For large slopes, this is differences is too...

Ability to annotate slope between linear features in plan using the Civil Labeler

Ability to annotate the slope between two linear features in plan. Currently we can only annotate station and offset but it is very common for designers to check cross slopes.

Drawing layout from right to left - plan and profile.

Fundamental convention for technical drawing demands that the north arrow point to the top of the page. Often an alignment either provided by a client or already exiting will progress from right to left. This being said, when creating plan and pro...

Plan-Profile-Profile drawing/sheet creation with named boundaries

Plan-Profile[LT]-Profile[RT] (and Profile[LT]-Profile[RT]) sheet creation for LT/RT split/bifurcated profile grade lines has been requested more frequently by our internal designers and our consultant designers. We have a workflow that can accompl...

Annotate Slope of terrain between points in Cross Sections

Civil labeler only works for 3D linear features (points). It`s impossible to annotate the slope from the terrain between two points. If you try that, the whole terrain section is selected and the command fails. A great example is a cross section o...
