OpenRail Designer seems to have Japanese Sine spiral type added from the formula used in Power RailTrack. However, there seems to be nothing similar to Japanese Cubic Parabola, which is based on a different formula from Japanese Sine.
When projecting various 2d geometry or 3d linear geometry the user is first required to set the active feature definition in the feature definition toolbar so that the project geometry shows up on the correct level, ect. It would speed things up i...
Cell in GC will have additional properties for IFC
Placed cells with Generative components on alignment which have assigned item types as additional properties. Those properties will be later exported to IFC. Now the additional properties are not shown in GC only in ORD.
ORD to allow vertical profile offset tool to snap to CAD lines. When alignments change horizontally, profile offsets do not retain snaps to features including CAD lines.
Add option to choose between a vertical offset and a parallel offset for profiles
The profile offset transition has the ability to do an vertical offset of (a part of) an profile. This is a vertical offset. When the line is horizontal, the parallel offset is constant. Please add an option to choose between a vertical offset and...
In complex geometries it does not seem to be possible to move the center point of a circular curve. When working with different alternatives, it´s common to have two geometries that shares some part of a circular curve with different start or end....
Add extra Coloum which shows Delta Value in Geometry Report at PC, PT, No Curve PI, SC and CS
Alerts users to the existence of "kinks" in horizontal alignments. These "kinks" are where the back and ahead tangents at PCs and PTs of curves are not on the same bearing. There is a small tolerance built in to eliminate rounding errors.
The Create 3d Automatically in the Feature Definition toolbar has the potential to be really powerful. Add the ability to have other options. The one I would most like to see is "Profile from Surface" based on vertices, locked to start and end.
